These “bright and juicy” beets with burrata is a nutritious and satisfying way to experience the myriad health benefits of beets while enjoying this buttery, indulgent cheese.
Do beets pair well with burrata?
Not only do beets pair exceptionally well with burrata, this is actually a common and incredibly desired type of dish, particularly in the summer when you can find the most juicy and brightest beets. The earthy, subtly sweet flavor compliments the rich, buttery burrata so well! When you add arugula, fruit, and balsamic glaze, the dish is stepped up another notch!
Why you will love this dish
- The way we are preparing our beets is unique. Not only are we roasting whole beets, we will be shredding them once they are finished cooking. This method is easier and more beginner friendly than other ways of cooking beets.
- The sweet and the savory. This dish is not just beets and burrata. There are sweet orange slices, earthy arugula, and indulgent balsamic glaze. Everything is just so complimentary here!
- Simplicity. I do not care for overly- complicated dishes. You do not need to have a million steps and ingredients to form a healthy and enjoyable dish. That is why I have carefully chosen simple ingredients that automatically compliment each other. This way, the simple ingredients are doing all the work themselves!
